Fallen Officers
About This Project
The Oklahoma Law Enforcement Hall of Fame wanted to ensure the officers that were either killed or died as a result of a line of duty event were honored for years to come. A project that was created in tandem with the Oklahoma History Center, this 32" touchscreen PC kiosk was installed in fall of 2016 in time for the annual banquet for the OLE Hall of Fame. This interactive exhibit features history about the organization, a page dedicated to the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial as well as a searchable database that contains all of the fallen officers in the state of Oklahoma. As the organization adds inductees to its member rolls, a built-in content management system allows the staff of the OHC to update the database, add photos and videos as well as simple text updates.
